Oftal Genetic Test

The test is performed by NGS sequencing of the whole genome and allows a complete screening of the DNA (intragenic and intergenic regions).

Genetics plays a key role in the regulation of diseases: the OPHTHALMOLOGICAL PANEL analyzes more than 400 conditions with specific information on the common and rare variants associated with diseases related to the visual apparatus and its annexes.

The analysis of the genome will allow professionals to develop an individual food plan and medical therapy, aimed at the prevention or treatment of diseases related to the visual apparatus.
