Biguan is a lubricating, antiseptic, protective, and hydrating ophthalmic solution.

It helps maintain the eye's natural water balance. Its use provides a rapid feeling of relief, freshness, and well-being.

Biguan eye drops are indicated for relieving redness, irritation, itching, and dry eyes caused by:

air conditioning or heating,

staying in a smoky or polluted environment,

prolonged exposure to wind or sunlight, chlorine, or salt air.

intense study or work commitments,

contact lens use,

foreign bodies,

excessive use of video screens, and general fatigue.

Biguan is also indicated for dry eyes caused by:

blepharitis

trauma, such as foreign bodies

post-operative recovery from ocular surface surgery (cataract, refractive, IVT, etc.).

Biguan contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid, PHMB, aloe, chamomile, and eyebright.

Hyaluronic acid, a natural polymer found in the tear film and the human eye, can relieve irritation of the ocular surface while

 

maintaining optimal hydration. The cross-linked formula enhances the properties of hyaluronic acid, achieving greater

 

bioavailability, greater resistance to degradation, and greater adhesion to the ocular surface.

Hypromellose, a plant-based fiber (cellulose) synthetically processed to increase its water solubility.

A highly versatile and safe, nonionic hydrophilic polymer, it helps improve lubrication and viscoelastic properties.

PoliEsa Methylene Biguanide (PHMB), a substance that helps inhibit microbial proliferation, making the product ideal for pre-

 

and post-surgery of the anterior segment of the eye (cataract, glaucoma, refractive surgery, etc.), especially useful in these times

Biguan also contains natural substances that support the product's main components, enhancing their effects. These are true

 

pharmacological boosters.

Aloe Vera (Barbadensis Miller) supports the viscosifying and lubricating, and therefore repairing, role of hyaluronic acid and

 

hypromellose (the repair processes of the cornea and the ocular surface are aided by adequate lubrication). This is supported by

 

their extrinsic components, such as the entire vitamin complex, amino acids, essential for collagen structures, and especially its

 

mucopolysaccharide, acemannan, which has re-epithelializing and repairing properties for corneal stress caused by trauma or

 

surgery.

It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Furthermore, it may have anti-allergic properties.

Chamomile supports PHMB's antiseptic action thanks to the antibacterial (effective against gram-positive bacteria and fungi),

 

anti-inflammatory (natural anticonjunctival), and analgesic properties of bisabolol, or alpha-bisabolol, a more stable component

 

of the more common chamomile derivative, azulene.

Chamomile may have anti-allergic properties.

It has antioxidant properties.


Eybright has a soothing and anti-redness effect, with a highly refreshing effect. This plant extract has been known since ancient

 

times as a remedy for eye disorders characterized by inflammation and redness. Eyebright extract is also used in ophthalmology

 

to combat free radicals (antioxidant properties).

Biguan is a Class A sterile product, and the manufacturing process is completely aseptic, thanks to the laboratories of Esavision,

Directions for use
 

Instill one or two drops into each eye, applying gentle pressure to the bottle.
 

The product can be used daily, even several times a day, as needed.

Biguan can be used while wearing contact lenses.
 

Biguan is simple, safe, and free of any side effects; it is suitable for everyone, including children and the elderly.
